Windows 7 "GodMode"...
See!!!!
Drop Dead!

It's a neat trick that gathers all of the options in Control Panel submenus and brings them to the surface. For those who might be concerned about charges being brought by the Witchmaster General, the prefix before the period can be anything, not just "Godmode".

Off topic from "Godmode", but it does seem that Windoze Vista never made it out of beta. Raise your hand if you participated in the unpaid debugging of Win7 (Vista)?

Well I guess I may be behind a little bit too then . . . I use Linux Mint 10 for everything except gaming, for that recently have been using 64 bit version of XP. That's been working great, just had to figure out how to get Halo to run . . . wow did I say Halo ? Behind ? Off topic ? Fail

— LunaticFringe @ Wed May 25, 2011 10:49 pmI ran Vista for two years...cant really see as to why everybody disliked it so much.
I'll be the first to admit that the UAC was horrible but other than that I found it to be a decent operating system.
It isn't the OS itself as much as the "beta" versions of OSes the MS has released since Win95. Sure, they end up patching them up, but if you bought and paid for an OS, now hundred$ of dollar$, you expect stability out of the box. Even the first release of XP was buggy. Other than screenshots, I don't think I've seen Win7 in action, but my understanding is that it's just Vista patched up to be what it was meant to be in the first place, with a few frills thrown in. All seem to agree, Win7 is the most stable MS OS out of the box since DOS days.
Kudos to those using open source OSes. I have been thinking about running a stripped down, bare bones version of Linux...just enough to support Wine and run CS:S. I've been thinking about that a long time though.
