You guys need to seriously watch who you trade with. It's (in honest perspective) literally asking to be scammed at this point. You need to take it upon yourselves to watch who you trade with, and make sure it is a legit middleman you're trading with.

For any future posts, I suggest taking these reports to the Report Section of BBG. Please do not reply, or make another forum post that is NOT in the said section. It can help us greatly.

You can make an additional report to add onto that mark's ban description/reasons if you so desire to. I highly suggest you do, though. It's up to you.

Your ban has been lowered to a Caution.
However, we do request that you do not attempt things like this again.

If you would like more information, please contact one of our Administrators.
Thank you for appealing.

From what I've seen lately and what OP (BBT) has been stating, I will inflict my own opinions regarding this appeal

As he said, if you are correct on what you've been saying and that you've made no transactions or any attempts to do anything mischievous in any way, shape, or form, it still does not disregard that you did, in fact, impersonate a Middleman, which is an actions that can result to a mark upon signification.
Also said, "Scamming, or attempting to scam, is a zero tolerance permanent violation."
A violation can be easily duped and misguided, disappointingly. Hence why our Community Admins / SteamRep admins are closely monitoring and deciding on this report.
I will also remind that due to the infliction and no confidence regarding specific details in this, it would take a longer amount of time to decide.

You did admit to attempting to scam, and you blatantly did attempt to try and scam someone. "Changing your mind" does not change the innocence of your appearance. If that were to be the case, however, it would be like saying "Oh, I was about to murder him", but then all of the sudden "Wait, no I didn't!" This is in a profound sense.

Understanding that you learned consequences of your actions, it still confuses me why you would impersonate someone without a valid reason to, even after acknowledging that he had a positive reputation. Were you doing it for fun? For bets? What are you trying to convey here?
Nor' do I understand why you would even want to appeal, considering that you've spent no time on the account that you are mainly trying to appeal on rather than your "alternative" which has more hours. I personally don't see the point in doing that.

I may be wrong in some of these topics, but this disturbs me in a matter of which we're about to admit a man that could possibly do the same crime in the next few hours or seconds. It's happened. And I don't want it to happen another time, and you should understand this.

It's gonna be depressing to see our major trade foundations be put down for the good of the community. However, if we're  going to be disconnecting or changing servers, I suggest getting rid of one of the FF2 servers and DeathRun. All the attraction goes to a specific server anyways. Arena and the Randomizer/x10 servers can stay as a method of competitive use for specific BBG members, I guess.

If you have a sample of any evidence that can be used against him or vice versa, it could be greatly appreciated.

Capping should be allowed when there are three minutes left into the round, or when there are cap-classes in the round (exhibit: engineer, rocket-jumper(jumping) soldier, scout, etc.)

All I see now a days is merpy spamming crevice nominations and just when you get one different map it goes right back it.

There's an easy resolution to that. We can just make FF2 random-map oriented and leave it to the interior system to decide what map is next, rather than what other people decide. If there is a disliked map, people can rtv it, or they can get a popular vote and ask an admin altogether to change a map if one is online.
That, or we can make it where if a map is nominated & is chosen, for three map changes (not including rtv maps), it cannot be used again until the fourth map cycle. That's the only way I can see it.

As for bosses...
Blitzkreig - I'm just putting this out there, this boss either needs to be nerfed entirely or just removed. Glitches, overheat situations, server crashes, you name it. This boss is the cause of all of it. Either lower the fire rate on some of it's weapons, and less material use, or just outright remove it.

Teleport bosses - For a while, people have used this ability of the hale to a disadvantage. Some hales, instead of teleporting to their given target, somehow manage to teleport outside the map at times, and sometime into random places that aren't populated, or just often remote. And according to users, it's just a bad attachment.

If anything else pops up into my mind, or if something comes up, I'll speak about it here.

On topic, though, I usually try to keep myself intact of when events like these happen.

This should be moved to Scam reports, or some sort of report-type topic.
